Gooey Brownie with Salted Caramel

What's not to be obsessed about in a brownie, its sin in every mouthful. Top that with a rich homemade salted caramel, and you can't get naughtier than that. I love a dense, chocolatey, gooey brownie. And while one can make brownies with nice dark chocolates, my version here has the intense goodness of some seriously good cocoa powder.

I generally use Cocoa Powder and Flour in the ratio of 1:1 for a brownie.

Here is the recipe for the Salted Caramel

Also, here is a no egg, sinful Dark Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup refined flour
1/2 cup sugar
100 gms butter
2 eggs
A pinch of salt

Method:

Melt the butter, add the sugar. Mix it well. Then add the eggs and beat, beat, beat. Well, beat till the texture is nice and you can see strings form when you take out the spatula or beater. This will ensure a nice fudge.

Sieve the Cocoa Powder, Flour and Salt. Add it to the wet mix. Mix it well, and pour it into a greased baking tray.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Let it cool slightly before adding the salted caramel on top.

Drumroll !! Now eat 😃
