Prawn in Garlic Wine Sauce



There is prawn and there is wine, what's not to love in this recipe. I love a good simple prawn recipe because it is so easy to prepare and comes together in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients: 

200 gms or 20 medium to small-sized deveined and clean prawns
1 small onion, diced
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp parsley chopped
1 tbsp spring onion leaves, optional
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup white wine
Juice of half lemon
1 tsp chilli flakes
Salt to taste


Method:

Melt the butter in medium heat, add the garlic and then the onions. Fry till translucent.


Add the prawns and fry for a minute. Add salt. Then add the parsley and spring onions.

Add the lemon juice. Fry for another minute.

Then dunk in the wine. let the wine evaporate slightly. But don't dry it up. 


Optional: You can garnish with some fresh green herbs.


Accompaniment suggestion: I served this on a bed of linguine pasta.
